๐ฟ Homemade Headache Salve Recipe
๐งด Ingredients (Makes ~2 oz)
2 tbsp beeswax pellets (for consistency and shelf life)
2 tbsp coconut oil (soothing, anti-inflammatory)
2 tbsp olive oil or sweet almond oil (carrier oil)
10 drops peppermint essential oil (cooling and pain-relieving)
8 drops lavender essential oil (calming and relaxing)
6 drops eucalyptus essential oil (opens sinuses, refreshing)
(Optional) 4 drops rosemary essential oil (stimulates circulation, eases pain)
(Optional) 1 vitamin E capsule (for preservation and skin benefits)
๐ฅ Instructions
1. Melt the oils and wax:
In a double boiler (or heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water), melt the beeswax, coconut oil, and olive oil together, stirring gently.
2. Cool slightly before adding essential oils:
Once everything is melted and combined, remove from heat. Let it cool for a minute or two (but not solidify), then stir in the essential oils and vitamin E if using.
3. Pour into containers:
Pour the warm mixture into small clean tins, balm jars, or lip balm tubes. Let it sit undisturbed until fully cooled and solidified.
4. Label and store:
Label with the name and date. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life is about 6–12 months.

Apply a small amount to temples, forehead, behind the ears, or the back of the neck.
Gently massage in circular motions.
Avoid contact with eyes.
